This tape creates a very strong and rigid bond that is mostly used for external applications such as mounting of profiles and joining of flexes. Upon application, it gives out an almost transparent glass-like finish which is ideal for display assembly. It is also avidly used for bonding rigid extrusions. The base is made of Polyester and hence can withstand high heat exposure. It is solvent resistant, has zero adhesive deterioration and provides zero slippage. Red Tape also has very high shear strength.
